The Lore So Far

It all started when Yuser, a Web3 decentralized social network, had its Twitter account and Discord server hacked by a group of self-described rebels.

The group, who identify as REBLs, are fighting against what they claim is a potential takeover of the platform by the corporate conglomerate MegaCorp. They are calling on the community of the platform to join them in their quest for a truly decentralized social network.

The startling development began with a series of tweets from the official Yuser account warning that the Web3 platform was under threat acquisition of MegaCorp. At first, some community members thought it was an April Fool's prank.

However, as the tweets continued throughout the week, it became clear that something serious was happening.

Then, during a highly anticipated Twitter Space hosted by NFT Evening, the drama took a sudden turn.

The REBLs interrupted the AMA, taking over Yuser's Twitter account and Discord server. A mysterious voice named Cipher announced the takeover and called on the Yuser community to join their movement.

As the drama unfolded, and the Twitter Space audience grew, everyone eagerly awaited an explanation of what was happening. Shocked, NFT Evening community manager, Jose, turned to Yuser CEO, Thomas Cermak, for clarification. Although Thomas did not acknowledge the REBLs' accusations, he promised to investigate them and continue the conversation with the group on Discord.

The conversation between Thomas and the REBLs continued in the newly renamed REBL Discord server, where they debated the future of Yuser and decentralized social media. However, their debate abruptly ended as REBL leader Cipher took over Yuser’s social accounts and changed Yuser's Twitter REBL.

Thomas, the CEO of Yuser, struggled to contain the takeover until he himself, according to the REBLs, was suddenly abducted by MegaCorp.

Outraged by MegaCorp’s flagrant kidnapping of the thought leader behind the project, the REBLs sprung to action to save Thomas. After a few weeks, the REBLs successfully discovered his location and brought him back to REBL H.Q.

Having witnessed the great dangers of powerful A.I. under the control of highly centralized big tech and finally understanding Cipher's goal of protecting Yuser and its community from MegaCorp, Thomas immediately joined the REBL group and agreed to officially rebrand Yuser into REBL.

Working alongside the REBLs and completely defying MegaCorp, Thomas has launched REBL District, an NFT collection aimed at building an army of REBLs who stand for freedom, decentralization and defiance against the status quo.
